Debtor Representation

We have represented corporate debtors in various industry groups, including high-tech manufacturers and developers, restaurant, printing and packaging, oil and gas, resort and hotel, numerous real estate partnerships and other entities created to develop, own or operate major real estate developments.

Representative matters include:

• Represented a corporate debtor in its successful Chapter 11 reorganization. The debtor was in the printing, graphic services business. Successfully confirmed a Chapter 11 plan of reorganization.

• Represented a corporate debtor which was in the manufacturing business in its Chapter 11 case where it sold its operating assets out of bankruptcy. A plan of liquidation was confirmed in the case.

• Represented an individual owner of a local heating and air conditioning business involving a workout and subsequent bankruptcy matter.

• Represented an owner of a chain of movie theaters in a non-bankruptcy workout with one of its operators located in Colorado.

• Represented a printing and graphics company in an out-of-court workout.

• Represented debtors, such as a national printing business in its liquidating Chapter 11 bankruptcy where a plan of liquidation was confirmed and a post-confirmation trust was established for the benefit of creditors.

• Represented a metal manufacturing company as debtor in possession in its Chapter 11 case where it had an asset sale. A plan of liquidation was subsequently successfully confirmed.

• Represented franchisees in personal Chapter 11 cases in conjunction with their corporate bankruptcy. Their company operated five Wendy's restaurants.

• Represented several entities established to own and operate real property in their Chapter 11 reorganizations. These entities owned such properties as an office tower outside Denver, Colorado, numerous health clubs in San Diego, California area, and five hotels on the east coast.
