• Represented a real estate investment trust as a creditor in a bankruptcy matter.

• Represented a pharmaceutical laboratory in an extended non-bankruptcy workout which involved allegedly environmentally contaminated real property at one of its locations.

• Defended a church for several years that was sued by a debtor in an adversary proceeding to recover rents allegedly due.

• Represented west coast owners of commercial real estate throughout Texas and in selected cities across the nation on various matters involving both its tenants' bankruptcy cases and relating to workouts.

• Represented landlord and owner of mini warehouses in its tenant's bankruptcy.

• Extended representation of owner of real estate developed as a nursing home/assisted living facility in the several bankruptcy proceedings (and adversary proceedings) of the operator/management companies.

• Represented a local investor on a real estate partnership workout.

• Represented lessors of nursing homes on a variety of issues including disputes over cost-of-living allowances and default\termination provisions of leases of five separate facilities. The latter involved one arbitration proceeding, two Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, two adversary proceedings, one state court suit, and one federal court suit over a period of five years.
