Representative matters involving businesses or individuals purchasing or selling assets out of bankruptcy proceedings:

• Represented a high-tech computer services company in an approximately $14 million purchase of high-technology assets from the bankruptcy estate of a bank holding company.

• Represented a high-tech computer hardware and software development company in its bankruptcy as it sold its operation assets and later confirmed a liquidating plan.

• Represented an individual and his company in its purchase of a Porsche, Audi and Alfa Romeo dealership.

• Represented an individual and his newly formed Texas company in its purchase of several beauty supply stores in the Metroplex from a bankruptcy estate. Continued to represent the corporation for many years thereafter.

• Represented two individuals in their stock purchase of an asphalt manufacturing and paving business located in Greenville, Texas.

• Represented an individual and his corporate entity in an asset purchase of a chemotherapy drug distribution company.

• Represented a start up company which developed and manufactured hand-held computers in its sale of high-technology assets.

• Represented an oil and gas partnership (in a chapter 11 case) in its sale of various oil and gas assets to a Houston energy company and later confirmed a plan of liquidation.

• Represented a husband and wife (in a chapter 11 case) in the sale of several restaurant franchises and thereafter confirmed a plan and acted as distribution agent for the creditors.
